Asheville and Tennessee
From: Asheville Mall (Hwy 240)  (Allow one hour),  Tennessee & Knoxville	(Allow 30 minutes from I-40) Take Sugar Hill Road exit (exit 81). Turn right onto Sugar Hill Road and proceed South for 4.6 miles. At the end of the red fence which runs on both sides of the road, veer right and continue onto Sugar Hill Road (#1001) for 7.1 miles. This road will eventually become Cove Road. Turn right onto Bill's Creek Road (#1008) and proceed 7 miles. Turn right onto Buffalo Creek Road  (at Dalton's General Store) and proceed 1/2 mile - office on left.
From: Asheville Airport Area (Allow one hour) Kentucky & the Ohio Valley Region	Take I-40 to I-26 at Asheville and proceed East on I-26 toward Hendersonville From I-26 East take exit 36, veer right towards Tryon/Columbus and turn left onto highway 108 and go 5 miles. Turn left onto Hwy 9 and go 9 miles until the road dead ends at Lake Lure. Turn right onto US Hwy 64/74-A, proceed 4 miles, and turn left onto Bill's Creek Road. Turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road (at Dalton's General Store) and proceed 1/2 mile - office on left.
Hickory and Winston-Salem
From: Hickory, Winston-Salem,  Greensboro, Raleigh/Durham, Virginia & Northeast.	(Allow 30 minutes from I-40) Take Sugar Hill Road exit (exit 81). Charlotte
From: Charlotte	(Allow 2 hours from Charlotte) Take I-85 South to the Kings Mountain exit (exit 10B) and proceed on US Hwy. 74 West toward Shelby. Stay on US 74 past Shelby follow sign to US 74 Bypass to exit 181 towards Forest City and Spindale. You will be on US Hwy. 74 for a total of 49 miles. After exiting proceed on US-74 West to the Town of Rutherfordton passing Winn-Dixie Grocery. Turn left at light and follow signs to 74-A West/64 West. At stop sign, turn right onto 74-A west/64 west towards Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Proceed 13 miles. Turn right onto Bills Creek Road and proceed for 2 miles. Turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road (at Dalton's General Store) and proceed 1/2 mile - office on left.
South Carolina and Georgia
From: South Carolina, Georgia, Florida  & points South	(Allow 25 minutes from I-26) From I-26 West take the first exit after the NC Welcome Center (exit 36). Go right onto Hwy. 108 East and proceed 6 miles to Hwy. 9.  Turn left onto Hwy. 9 and go 9 miles until the road dead ends at Lake Lure. Turn right onto US Hwy. 64/74 A, proceed 4 miles, and turn left onto Bill's Creek Road. Turn left onto Buffalo Creek Road (at Dalton's General Store) and proceed 1/2 mile - office on left.
